Is Affiliate Marketing Dead?

If affiliate marketing is dead then I must have not gotten that message. I would say though affiliate marketing has gotten more competitive. But its been like this for many years now. A couple of years back there were many people saying that affiliate marketing was dead but there are still many people making money online today.

If you are just starting out and done know where to begin its going to be harder for you without the proper guidance. Even some really experienced marketers they saw their income cut in half with the google penguin and panda updates. I wasn't effected by this but this affiliate model wasn't working for people.

You see many people who get into affiliate marketing are looking for the quick sale or looking for quick money. This is great and all and you might get sale here and there but its not really sustainable and if you stop working at it your traffic stops and so does your income.
