There are many home based business opportunities online the problem is to avoid getting scammed. First of all, run as fast as you can from people who say you can make 1000$ in one day online with their fabulous idea. It is a scam, making money is not easy. It is about hard work unless you are extremely lucky.
I am gonna do a small list of ideas on how to make money online in 2020.
Sell a physical product. There are websites like Amazon, eBay, Shopify or Mercado Libre (for Latin America only) On these websites you can sell whatever you want and set up an account is not that difficult. With some hard work and good marketing, you can make good money on these platforms.
Selling a digital product. There websites like Udemy were you can sell courses. If you are good at something you can make a small course and sell it. If you are a photographer you can sell your pictures online. You can create your website and sell them or use websites like Getty Images, Shutterstock, iStock or many more you can easily find with a google search.
Investing or Trading (Stocks or Cryptocurrencies). There are many ways to invest money and make some revenue. But the risk is too high and you need to know and understand what you are doing otherwise you will end up losing your money.
Offering a service. There are websites in which you can work as a freelancer. You just need to be good at something and create an appealing profile plus a good cover letter. You can set up a profile easily on websites like UpWork, Freelancer, Fiverr or People per hour.
Creating a YouTube channel. If you are passionate about something like for example videogames or makeup. You can share your passion with the world while you make money. It is not easy and requires hard work but the good thing is you can start with just a webcam a microphone and a lot of motivation.

A Very Humbling $12,803.26 Month - August Progress Report
Wealthy Affiliate member Raph was debating weather to write this post. Not to brag but he wanted to provide value to wealthy affiliate members. During the month of august he ad a humbling experience. He was on track to make 24k a month but one of his merchants went offline. He was able to straighten everything out. After getting back on track he stresses that you shouldn't rely on one source of income. He show's proof of his income statements of how much he has made. All he has done is follow the training that wealthy affiliate provides.
