I might as well get to the point and be honest Yes making money online is possible but its not for everyone. Here are some questions you need to ask yourself if you want to invest in to some marketing/training program.
What are your expectations? Are you looking to make money right away or are you ok with building a website slowly over time? Affiliate marketing can be a very slow process especially if you are looking to build a website from scratch. It can take up to six months of consistent work to see any results. So can you wait this long to see results? If you just look at the big picture and don't think about making money then this is something that you might want to do. If you are looking for some money right away you might want to look into freelance work.
What is your experience level? Have you built a website before? Do you have website hosting? Do you know what SEO Is? If you are just getting started I would look into a step by step training program that will teach you the ropes. This will help you stay focused.
There is a program out there called Wealthy Affiliate. Its geared towards total beginners. The good thing about it is you can sign up for free to check it out. You get access to everything for 7 days. After the 7 days if you do not upgrade your communication is cut off. Keep in mind that this in not a trial you will still have access to 10 training lessons your 2 free websites and the community.
You can still make money with the free starter membership but the only thing is it will be harder as you will not be able to get the help. I started with the free membership and as soon as I was making money I upgraded right away. I suggest you sign up for a free account and check it out. Once you sign up there is a tab on your left that says "training" you can get started with the training.
